Energy Audit and Engineering Design
Business Energy Audit, West Berkshire
The Council commissioned Salvis to undergo multiple business energy audits projects across three buildings in West Berkshire, including:
- Energy audit and feasibility study
- Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) application support leading to successful award of grant funding
Project Description
After successfully gaining the funding, Salvis were then appointed to carry out the detailed engineering design and project management, including:
- Air source heat pumps housed within acoustic attenuation enclosures
- Trenching to plant rooms.
- Localised ‘boost’ heat pumps within plant rooms to supply domestic hot water
- LED lighting to replace all fluorescent light fittings
- Solar panel arrays
- New Building Management Systems
