Jude Beck

Apprentice Engineer

Jude started his apprenticeship with Salvis in September 2022 after leaving school and is planning to finish his apprenticeship by February 2025. He has developed skills in AutoCAD for both mechanical and electrical works, producing schematics and layouts, and he has experience on-site as he has attended several building surveys around the country.

Jude’s knowledge in the mechanical and electrical fields is growing each and every day. Jude’s favourite part of the job is learning the intricate details of how buildings operate, the effort and work put into constructing a building and being able to be a part of that operation in the most sustainable way possible.

He has achieved a qualification in AutoCAD and is trained in other design software, such as Revit and IES VE. He is also applying the knowledge he is currently learning in college to his work, as he has been taught about the regulations of design and how to work safely within buildings.

A fun fact about Jude is that he was in the Scouts, and he was the leader of his patrol.
